God is awesome..I am now w/ a LAW firm downtown Kansas City... Absoulutely love it!! I am w/ a temp agency and its working great for me! This job I will be w/ for atleast like the next month and it's great. Here is one thing, I do have to get up at the most UNGODLY hour ever!!! I have to be at work by 6am but I get out earlier so its nice. And I like the fact that it is downtown..and I;m not lost anymore... I swear Kansas City Has Like Exit 2 A-Z a for downtown..its like a zoo...but i just have to take exite 2C Broadway and I'm good to go. The building I'm in has a Starbu cks, Mc'D's, taco Bell, Subway..and other stuff. Even a bank and Post Office.. Anyways... I like.
Torrey's b-ball team had there first game Saturday..they don't keep score... Really cute little kids..Um.. let's see what else..oh one of the years we should get the FINAL date for the wedding It's crazy...either the 29th or 22nd of April..Also... I GOT my dress ordered!! YAY!! Wahoo.. Ok.. I'll write more later but this is it for now..

It's Been Awhile

Hello out there. I realize it has been awhile and I do apologize. I do have some time today so here it goes. Two weeks ago tomorrow, I was let go from my job as Title Loan processor. Believe me I am not in tears, if anything, I see it as a blessing in disguise. Because when I left that job I realized how that company had no integrity whatsoever, and I will not be part of a company that really does some stuff I do not personally and morally agree with. So, now I have had the opportunity to start looking for a job that I truly would love and am good at. Something corporate again, w/ law stuff. (Preferably, sp?) So last week, I eargerly and quickly started looking for a position. I came a accross a Legal Temp agency. Ended up being a blessing in disguise as well. I had 2 interviews w/ a company last week for a permananent position as a Executive Assistant and wating for a response. But for now I am going into different law firms and helping out. Today I am at the receptionist desk and am just answering the phone. I have been given permission to get online, since it's kind of slow, so I thought I would update anyone out there, who happens to still be interested in reading my blogs. :)

So please continue to pray for a quick job though, b/c I do need the finances considering all that is approaching. But God is faithful and we are staying strong. Believe it hasn't been this "breezy" ride since I have moved out here, but WOW, have I learned so much about myself..and so much about me and Torrey. Both good and bad..but I am grateful for everything, and especially to Torrey's parents for allowing me to stay w/them. So Linda or Jim if you happen to read this. THANK YOU!!!

Budget...

Who really likes the word budget anyways??
Well Torrey and I went to a Good Sense Budget seminar this weekend. We both were kind of hesitant going into it, but asked God to work on hearts and allow us to be open minded. We walked out of there Saturday afternoon...overwhelmed, pumped and refreshed all at the same time. Sunday we went and got everything we would need to really get a system that would work really well for us going. It was annoying...but so funny and stressful at the same time. God reallyt was giving us some great ideas... and we felt really good at the end. That we arestarting out small..taking baby steps..but it felt so good. And for giving... this weekend..we learned..that even a little bit..is better than none... So that is what we are going to do. You mind can do some crazy things...to you.
We became members this weekend at our church. If you look to the side of my site... I have it labeled as My Church..check it out..great...and incredible church. It feels really good. We both are getting plugged in, fed, mentored...INCREDIBLE... WE are soo excited w/ everything right now..and know that GOD is in the MIDST...
