A Honeymoon

Soo, as of right now Torrey and I are NOT getting a honeymoon, b/c of the $$$. Torrey and I are trying not to be bummed; but we both have waited our WHOLE lives for this, and it looks like there won't be one at all. Now we still have less than 2 months, so anythis is possible... But it looks like its going to be just a few days off at our new place. Now, don't get me wrong, as long as we are together, that is all that matters. But let's be real, this is what him and I both dream that some how God will work it out, that we will be able to go to a place like this:

Okay..I'm not surprised that Stevie got cut, but I was about Becky..but not mad about it. I don't have too much of an opinion on the guys b/c I didn't get to watch them.

Any body have any fun plans this weekend?
Torrey and I are doing few last shopping stops for the wedding. Wrapping all the gifts and seperating everything out, so that way in April, we have as little of that to do. We also have to read 6 chapters of Dave Ramsey this weekend..(FUN STUFF :). We also have youth home groups to help lead and oh church. And then we are going to try and go bowling. We have some free games, so I think we might use it, I haven't done it YEARS!!

Ohh..some of you should be receiving your invitations this weekend. Everyone in KC, should already have theirs. Hmm I don't know what else to say right now, so I guess that is it..

OH...I hope I get this job..but I know if not, it's all in God's timing and God's Will...

Less than 2 months now. I am soo excited!!

So I didn't get to watch American Idol last night, how did it go???

We started this Dave Ramsey Seminar..on finace stuff, it should be good. We met a guy there last night, who is going to pass Torrey's resume around to some supervisors. YEAH!!

I had an interview with a law firm that focuses on Civil cases and Criminal cases as a receptionists/ secretary! How cool would that be??!! So cool, but hey only if it is God's will and God's timing..

2 Months from 2 day!!

Well I can't believe it! We have OFFICIALLY sent 279 invitations! Thanks to our Sunday School Class who helped us last Friday stuffing, labeling, etc. all of the invitations. The wedding is 2 months from 2day, exactly 60 days until the big day. I am so excited, and amazed on how smoothly everything is coming together. All I have left is to just finalize and pick out everything for the day of, songs..vows..etc. I have an interview tomorrow w/ a new law firm that does litigation and criminal cases. So we will see what happens.
Oh and I am soo into American Idol this season, although I will never get to watch it on wednesdays b/c of church..but I will stay posted at ALL times. The last chick that sang last night did awesome. I tried for 30 minutes calling and voting and could NEVER get through.

Friday Already??

Okay a random side note...Who would have thought that picking out tuxes for a wedding could be so technical.

Anyways...So much is happening, it's hard sometimes to just sit back and see how good GOD really is. We get so consumed w/ "stuff" and "life", we tend to forget who we are living this life really for. God has been so good to me and Torrey lately. Alot of our prayers have been getting answered in such amazing ways. You know how you hear those stories on how God either moved or provided in such unbelieveable ways? Well, I'm telling you, it has been happening with me & Torrey so much these last few weeks. And the only way I know how to thank God, is by worshiping (sp? doesn't look right... anyhoo...) him and giving him praise and thanking him for all that he is doing in my life. We feel your prayers!!

We have gotten so blessed with church and how we have really been able to plug into God and Church. www.pleasantvalley.org It's been a long time since I have really wanted to be highly involved in church. I was burnt out for a long time... But wow, right now I am loving it. I'm helping in areas I never thought I would want to. Youth, for those who know me, know that youth hasn't always been my area of interest. But wow, has God changed my heart on that. Torrey and I help lead a 7th grade home group w/ about 20 boys and girls. We split up into 3 groups. 2 girl groups and 1 guy group. These kids need us you know that? Alot goes back to the home, but while we have time with them, in just the little time slots each week, we need to take advantage of it. We can't ignore what's going on, things that are happening now, I didn't even experience or go though, and I was out of school only like 5 yrs ago. These kids need someone they can go to in confidence, someone who they can pray with and be in agreement with them about things in their every day walk with God. I love these kids so much, and I've only been helping them for a short time.

Also, as you are taking time this week in prayer..Please continue to pray for Torrey and I, we have a lot going on, but are so excited with what GOD has instored for us in the next few months!! Jobs are a big thing for us, I've been out on interviews, Torrey is preparing for different positions, so that he has something during the day rather than night, while we are preparing for him to do Seminary. Man let me just say this. Torrey is such an INCREDIBLE man of God. He is sensitive to God and the Holy Spirit and what they are saying to him. He has such a heart for people and for youth and friends. He is a man of integrity. Let's say this, he has patience in ways I hope to someday have w/ people! LOL...I love you Torrey Wolf and am ecstatic (sp?) about being able to spend the rest of my life with you. To see what God has in stored for us as a couple. Torrey, I can not imagine my life without you, and the way God had us meet, is believe me only God!! I love you!

73 days to go baby!! Oh YEAH!!

BIG WEEKEND!!

This weekend is a big weekend for not just me..but me and Torrey. My parents are coming out to see us and see where we are at, and what we are doing. I am really looking forward to it, so that they will get to see how the decisions we have made are effecting us each and every day. Also, it is Torrey's birthday on Super Bowl Sunday!! Wahoo!! He turns 28!! Happy Birthday to my one and only!!

okay...just got some awesome news...someone came to Torrey and told him that they wanted to buy the wedding cake for us!!
GOD IS GOOD!
